My Pain

Day, the one time of my life that you will never see me in.
I hide in the dark for fear of what will say.
I hide to not show me....
The true me.

Deep in the mind I hide.
No one can see me there
No one can find me where
I will be now, and forever more.

Darkness will at all times be in here
Locked away like a mad beast
Thrown into the dark corner
Chained, shackled, broken.

Do you fear being me?
Why do you hurt me so?
What did I do for this?
Cracking and tearing at my flesh.

Whips slash at my skin pouring blood.
Chains hold me in place for the beatings.
Bats, color me black and blue for all to see.
Laughing and clapping echo in my ears seeing as eyes do.

Crushed bones, bleeding gashes, aching bruises.
They will never hurt as much
As what you have done
To my ripped soul.

Soulless, heartless, loveless.
I will forever remain in here.
In my mindless head,
In my lifeless Heart.

I remain
A cold,
Dead,
shell.
